Services

Helping you on your learning journey

We go above and beyond the classroom to help community members meet a variety of needs, from help with filling out forms, to personalized one-on-one coaching and instruction.

Services

We can help community members with a wide range of information, referral and assistance. Please contact us at 403-431-0091 or programs@bowvalleylearning.ca to make an appointment.

We also offer a variety of workshops for organizations that would like to enhance the skills of their employees. Please contact ed@bowvalleylearning.ca for more information.

Agency Referrals

We can help provide referrals to other learning organizations as well as community organizations that can help with other needs.

CELPIP & IELTS Preparation

We can provide one-on-one instructor to learner sessions to help you prepare for your CELPIP or IELTS test. The cost is $50.00 per hour. There is no minimum or maximum number of sessions required to use this service.

Exam Supervision

We can provide space and the oversight to allow you to complete an exam off-site. The cost is $40.00.

Help with Forms

We can assist community members with a variety of forms, including online forms. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.

Post Secondary Program Information

There are so many options for adult learning that it can be difficult to know where to start. We would be happy to explain what each can offer along with the application process and any prerequisites.

Tutoring

Sometimes learners feel more comfortable in a smaller group, or a one-on-one setting. We can arrange informal tutoring sessions with a tutor to help you in literacy, numeracy and basic digital (smartphone, computer, tablet) skills and English language. Cost varies from free of charge to low cost.

Workshops

We offer a variety of group workshops specifically  for organizations. Topics include effective coaching, teamwork, and conflict resolution.

Advanced English

We offer online or in-person (Banff or Canmore) professional coaching to support advanced English language learners. Customized, flexible, & specialized one-on-one curriculum for either professional or academic purposes
